While you are trading you are entering into a CFD contract with us, if an Extraordinary Event occurs with respect to a security that underlies an Instrument (whether directly or indirectly, in whole or in part), and we deem it necessary (at its sole and absolute discretion and in accordance with market practice, to the extent practicable), We may determine the appropriate amendments to be made to the affected Transactions (and/or to the level of any Order) to address the impacts of such Extraordinary Event, we may take all actions to reflect such alterations in the corresponding contract and all such actions will be binding on you and such alterations deemed incorporated into the Contract which may include but not limited to, amend the size or your transaction and/ or value/ and/ or the number of the related transactions and/ or level of any opened order or pending order or remove any stop loss or take profit
If we decide to close out a transaction following an extraordinary event, we will determine the closing price of the affected security based on our fair and reasonable assessment of the value of the affected security. Closing level may be zero, and this will be the case following a delisting event, or an insolvency event.
"Adjustment Event", means that the underlying asset may:
- Have consolidation or reclassification, a split, a reverse split, a right issue, a buy-back, a cancellation, a free distribution of securities to existing holders by providing a bonus issue, or similar issue
- The declaration of a dividend or other distribution
"Delisting Event", means that the security of the underlying asset on an exchange announces that the affected security has ceased or will cease to be listed, quoted or trading on that exchange and are not listed, quoted or traded on any other exchange and such security are not immediately re-listed, re-quoted, or re-traded on any exchange.
"Merger Event", means that a security that underlying asset has a takeover offer, tender offer, solicitation that result in such entity purchasing, or have the right to obtain.
"Suspension Event", means that a security that underlying asset has been suspended on one or more exchanges.
You agree to the Fees, chargers and other costs where your account is holding an instrument which is due to be credited or debited related to a dividend or similar payment.
We reserve the right before the release of earnings report of the underlying asset to place the share on a close only mode for a period of 1-3 hours prior to the previous day market close. During this period, you will be able to close any open trade, but you can't open a new trade.
Trading any instrument with the sole purpose of not benefitting from the market movement, but to take advantage of our offerings which may include, but not be limited to Dividends, Swaps, Negative balance protection, and deposit bonuses is prohibited.
